After winning commercial contracts in Ireland, Belgium, Germany and other international markets, Britenet has been selected as one of the contractors in a competitive public market tender issued by the European Border and Coast Guard Agency – Frontex. This is a confirmation of Britenet’s international competencies and proven understanding of customer needs beyond its home market.
Frontex tender – another significant step in Britenet’s European growth
Britenet has been awarded a contract under a multi-year framework agreement launched by Frontex. The company will deliver IT consulting, development, and support services over a period of up to four years. This is a significant achievement – not only due to the scale and cross-border nature of the project, but also because of the high level of competition, with leading IT companies from across Europe participating in the tender.
This contract confirms that our technological expertise is trusted at the EU level. We’re proud to support Frontex in strategic areas such as IT system development and data security – domains that are essential for the agency’s mission and for Europe’s security.

Expansion to Europe
This success is a result of Britenet’s long-term strategy of international growth. The company operates actively across Europe, with an office in Germany, a recently opened branch in Belgium, and a steadily growing international portfolio.
“This contract is the result of a team effort that combined technological expertise and understanding of the public environment with knowledge of EU procurement procedures and a flexible, client-centric approach. It shows we are prepared to manage complex, international projects”, noted Claudia Nieuwland, COO at Britenet.
A technology partner for Europe
The Frontex contract is further proof of Britenet’s ability to successfully compete in the European IT services market. It also reinforces the company’s position as a trusted partner in the digital transformation of public institutions and private organizations across Europe.
I believe this is just the beginning of a broader engagement in EU-level projects. Frontex is a key institution, and this partnership opens new opportunities for Britenet on the international stage.
