Britenet annually establishes unpaid cooperation with a selected NGO - teams of our specialists have the opportunity to use their knowledge and experience in developing activities undertaken for the benefit of society. One such project was cooperation with the Activation Foundation, which for 30 years has been actively supporting people with disabilities in their professional development and increasing their chances in the labor market.
Over the years, the organization used elaborate spreadsheets, which were simultaneously used by each provincial branch. When the Foundation began working with a nationwide employer, there were great difficulties in day-to-day work, which greatly complicated the implementation of even basic tasks. In turn, the sheets themselves were not a solution adequate to the actual needs of the organization. The development of the foundation and the implementation of increasingly ambitious projects contributed to the need to look for new and more effective ways to communicate with customers. The foundation, in cooperation with our team of specialists, decided to enter a higher level of data management through the implementation of Salesforce.
The main goal of the project was to improve the efficiency of processes related to facilitating the involvement of people with disabilities in the labor market. For a very long time, the organization had based its operations on spreadsheets, which prolonged the data collection process and also increased the risk of errors. The implementation of the Salesforce system in all branches of the Foundation enabled a faster, as well as transparent flow of information regarding, among other things, partner companies and activities carried out by the organization.
Implementation of the Salesforce solution took 6 months. The project was planned and divided into three phases - analysis, implementation and user acceptance testing along with end-user training. The main modules included in the scope of the project were: database modeling, three forms of lead acquisition (email, web form, manual), automatic deduplication of employers, data sharing between branches, job offer management, an email template for external communication, and a performance reporting module.
The project was carried out using Agile methodology with project meetings with representatives of the Foundation, during which the team sought to fully understand the problems and expectations of our partner, and then focused on optimizing the scope of the implementation so that the implemented solution fully meets the needs of the Foundation, which was finally achieved.
The implementation of Salesforce by our specialists has made it possible to streamline processes related to data collection. Representatives of the Foundation can now use one convenient tool, enabling, among other things, the creation of easy-to-use employer databases. The new solution also brings with it an improvement in the quality of internal communication and optimization of daily operations. All this translates into taking more effective actions in pursuit of the organization's mission - to help people experiencing vocational exclusion.
The implementation of the solution was a particular cause for joy. It meant a real impact on the effectiveness of the daily tasks of the organization, whose main goal is to take action to improve the quality of life of people with disabilities.
Mateusz Kotnowski, Director of the Employment Agency Division of the Activation Foundation
Despite current social stereotypes about how people with disabilities function in the labor market, the Activation Foundation is making efforts to remove barriers and promote equal professional opportunities. In turn, Britenet's support has helped make this mission much easier.
