This time you have the chance to be part of a project related to the development, consulting and support of IT systems for Frontex. The European Border and Coast Guard Agency supports EU Member States and Schengen-associated countries in the management of the EU's external borders and the fight against cross-border crime.
Our expectations
- Strong knowledge of Scrum rules, technics and practices.
- Has got hands on experience in Scrum management
- Expert in estimating and planning of iterative and incremental software developments
- Has knowledge of other agile approaches like Kanban, XP, etc.
- Possesses excellent communication, conflict resolution, leadership and mentoring skills
- Possess experience as a team lead
- At least 1 certification among: • Scrum Master certification • or an equivalent certification recognized internationally (subject to acceptance as a valid credential by the Contracting Authority)
- Open to hybrid work from Warsaw
- English min. B2 level
Main responsibilities
- Facilitating meetings for the scrum team
- Holding retrospectives
- Coaching team members, mediating through conflicts, helping the team to make decisions, fostering the developer team’s self-organisation, mediating the general conflict of goals between development team (high technical quality) and product owner (more features)
- Facilitating agile team learning process
- Helping to write or split user stories, to write or adapt product visions, to order product backlog items, the release planning.
- Facilitation open communication between the scrum team with other stakeholders
- Supporting the team in getting rid of impediments
- Supporting product owner in optimization of product backlog
- Improving engineering processes
- Safeguarding, monitoring and improving the method of teamwork
- Leading for adoption of scum for stakeholders
- Implementing changes to increase team’s productivity
- Supporting the team in effective use of scrum logs, metrics, charts etc.
