About the project

EU Public Sector Sales Manager position will involve spearheading the development and implementation of a comprehensive sales strategy aimed at significantly enhancing Britenet's footprint within the public sector and European Union institutions.

Our expectations

  • At least 5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in IT or Telco 
  • At least 5 years of experience in the public sector - in particular in cooperation with EU institutions
  • Sales strategy experience - ability to develop Sales & Account management plans in cooperation with marketing
  • Successful experience in submitting bids for public tenders
  • Understanding public tenders and offers solutions tailored to the needs and expectations of clients
  • Higher education (administrative, technical or commercial), preferred education in the field of public procurement
  • Good knowledge of public procurement processes and regulations in the EU
  • Experience in working in a start-up like environment, where some processes and structures are in the process of being defined; readiness to report improvements to existing processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to establish business relationships easily
  • Ability to understand customer needs and translate them into winning offers
  • Expert in sales and negotiation techniques
  • Ability to analyze market data and make data-based decisions
  • Ability to work under time pressure
  • Proactiveness, methodicalness and teamwork skills
  • Native Dutch and French
  • English language skills at a level that ensures fluent business communication, spoken and written (C1 level)

Main tasks

1.Development and implementation of sales strategies

  • Creating and implementing a comprehensive sales strategy for the public sector market
  • Defining sales goals and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Evaluating and adapting strategies to meet changing market dynamic


2. Management of the process of submitting offers in tender procedures in the public sector

  • Managing an effective process of submitting offers in tenders from the public sector and European institutions
  • Coordinating the preparation process and completing documents during the submission of offers in connection with tenders/tender activities
  • Determining, in cooperation with the PMO Department, what human, financial and technical resources will be needed to implement projects in the portfolio
  • Cooperating with Bid Manager and PMO department in the preparation of input for bids (proposal of complex technological solutions) and with the sales, finance and other departments to ensure the achievement of goals related to revenues and customer satisfaction
  • Ensuring completeness of the offer and timely submission of the offer
  • Responsibility for the final shape of contracts and obligations in the public sector and European institutions in close cooperation with the offer management department in the case of large requests for proposals


3. Building and developing relationships with customers

  • Developing relationships and sales with new and existing customers to increase revenues
  • Representing the company in contacts and negotiations with contractors, demonstrating exceptional competence, professionalism and honesty
  • Building a positive image of Britenet as a trustworthy and reliable business partner
  • Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and resolving any issues in a timely manner


4. Sales management

  • Managing the sales process in terms of analyzing customer needs, designing and presenting solutions, developing offers and conducting negotiations
  • Monitoring and reporting the progress of sales activities, transactions and forecasts
  • Implementing effective sales procedures and tools to streamline work
  • Budget management 


5. Responsibility for process improvement

  • Market analysis for trends, opportunities and potential clients in the public sector
  • Analyzing performance metrics, tender results, inquiry responses and market trends to identify areas for improvement
  • Making data-driven decisions to optimize your offerings, experiences and improve overall performance
