How to use artificial intelligence and data analytics to optimise key company processes? How effectively integrate data from different sources to support accurate business decisions? How to ensure high data quality so that it provides a solid basis for implementing AI solutions? These questions, among others, were answered by Britenet experts during our latest webinar. Learn the key takeaways and prepare your business for digital transformation.

Key takeaways from this article

  • Implementing AI requires proper data preparation and a realistic assessment of an organisation's technological maturity – the key to success is to clearly define goals and gradually introduce AI solutions.
  • Integrating data from various sources, such as CRM systems or social media, supported by cloud-based tools and advanced data-processing techniques, enables accurate demand forecasting and efficient inventory optimisation.
  • AI enables practical applications such as optimising delivery routes or sales forecasting, delivering real business benefits – increased sales, better product availability and reduced waste.

Transform Your Operations: Unlock AI and Data Solutions for Competitive Edge

During the Transform Your Operations: Unlock AI and Data Solutions for Competitive Edge webinar, Britenet experts Piotr Wegner, Solution Management Director, and Magdalena Jagiełło, Sales Director Poland, shared their knowledge and experiences on the importance of artificial intelligence and data analytics in improving business processes. They discussed, among other things, methods for effectively integrating data from various sources, the challenges of AI implementation, and the importance of proper preparation. Here are some of the key issues raised during the session.

Broad benefits of data integration and AI applications

The discussion focused primarily on the benefits, practical applications, and strategies for successfully implementing modern technologies to optimise processes, reduce costs, and foster innovation. Piotr Wegner and Magdalena Jagiełło emphasised that the key aspect of AI implementation is integration of data from various sources – from CRM systems to social media data. Tools such as cloud-based data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift) and ETL/ELT platforms enable companies to better understand their customers, accurately forecast demand, and optimise inventory. In many industries this also means more effective marketing activities and easier adaptation to market trends, resulting in higher revenues and higher profits.

Challenges and strategies for implementing AI

Another important point of the webinar was the indication that not all organisations are ready to use artificial intelligence. Magdalena Jagiełło pointed out that the key step is to prepare high-quality data and realistically assess the technological maturity of the company. She also stressed that success requires, first and foremost, a clear definition of the project's objectives, choosing the right technology partner and building a solid data foundation.

Practical applications of AI in business

The discussion also included examples of how AI can be applied to everyday operations, such as optimising delivery routes, intelligent warehouse management or sales forecasting based on analysis of social media trends and weather data. Among the examples discussed, a project carried out by Britenet for a Polish retail chainwas presented – the use of machine learning-based recommendations led to a 16% increase in sales, a 5% improvement in product availability and a 16% reduction in losses due to overdue goods.
