From a baby to an adult: Britenet is celebrating a special anniversary – 18 years of innovation, dynamic growth on the Polish and foreign markets and many challenging projects successfully completed are behind us. This is an excellent opportunity to briefly summarise the past years and to look boldly into the future.
From small office to international leadership
The story of Britenet is somewhat reminiscent of a film script - two ambitious students decided to turn a fierce competition in a mathematical championship into a collaboration. Together with a group of friends, they created a company whose main goal was to bring new freshness to the IT market. While the world's biggest companies started in garages, Britenet aimed much higher from the beginning – it started its story in an attic in Warsaw's Ursynów district. At that time, the company's priority was to gain the trust of its customers and build a secure position on the IT market.
At the initial stage of its operations, Britenet consisted of a few people who carried out projects for the corporate and telecommunications sector. As the number of projects grew, so did the team, which soon moved to a new, larger office in Warsaw - this was the first step in the expansion that was gaining momentum. In 2008, we opened our first competence centre in Lublin, followed by branches in Poznań, Kielce and Białystok. Meanwhile, to meet the needs of foreign customers, we opened a German branch in Mönchengladbach.
Our most important achievements
Our determination and commitment to growth has seen us go from a small office to one of Poland's leading IT service providers over the past 18 years, which is now carrying out an ambitious expansion into Germany, Belgium and Europe. We now boast as many as 11 offices and hundreds of projects for clients from all over the world.
Today, we are also a Microsoft Certified Partner and an official member of the Salesforce Talent Alliance. We have received the prestigious ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 certifications, which guarantee the highest level of data security and service quality. We are also proud to boast an ‘A’ rating from SecurityScorecard, the world's leading cybersecurity assessment. Our daily efforts have been recognised by our customers and partners – it is their feedback that has earned us numerous accolades including Top Salesforce Company and Top IT Service Provider, awarded by Clutch, while our CEO, Michal Borny, was named Most Influential CEO 2023.
Our innovative approach and expertise support various sectors, including public administration, the banking and insurance sector and healthcare. We have completed projects for clients such as Generali, Bank Pekao and the Ministry of Finance. We are a leader in delivering Salesforce, cloud solutions (AWS, Azure) and bespoke software development in over a variety of 50 technologies – including Java, React and Python.

None of our many successes, however, would be possible without an incredible team of dedicated specialists and business partners. It is thanks to cooperation based on understanding, commitment and trust that we are able to implement innovative solutions and consistently strive to technologically revolutionise further industries.
Looking boldly to the future
Although we have had 18 years of dynamic growth, we are still only at the beginning of our journey. At Britenet, we are constantly looking for new challenges - entering new markets, taking on the technology problems of companies in different sectors. We help bring our partners' businesses to the next level, and many of our clients value us for taking responsibility for projects that others were unwilling to take on.
Each year, however, our ambitions are growing bigger and bigger - we are now focused on firmly establishing our position on the international market and actively supporting the digitalisation of many of our companies in order to jointly create a reality based on technologies that make everyday life easier for millions of people.
We also intend to strengthen our partnerships with global technology leaders, such as Microsoft and Salesforce, and invest in new technologies, including Big Data, AI andCloud Computing. Our plans also include increasing our commitment to sustainability, in line with ESG principles, and further developing our outsourcing centres.
