About the role
We are looking for an experienced SharePoint & Cloud Deployment Engineer to join an international project supporting Frontex and the IRMA 2.0 platform. The role combines application build and deployment, cloud environment management, system integration, monitoring and technical coordination.
You will work closely with ICT teams, project teams and external technology partners, supporting the delivery and stable operation of application environments in an international and multicultural environment.
Our expectations
- Minimum 8 years of professional IT experience.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a related or similar role.
- Bachelor’s degree (EQF Level 6) in an ICT-related field.
- Mastery of Sharepoint and Sharepoint platform-specific tools.
- Excellent knowledge of software deployment management.
- Good knowledge of software release management.
- Knowledge of RUP and/or Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of application servers.
- Knowledge of building and deployment tools (e.g. Ant, Azure Pipelines)
- Knowledge of developments tools.
- Knowledge of RDBMS.
- Knowledge of English - B2 level.
- Capability of working in an international / multicultural enviroment.
Main responsibilities
- Supporting the ICT team with application building, integration and deployment, covering both backend systems and client devices, including mobile and PC environments.
- Supporting the management, configuration and maintenance of system environments.
- Supporting project teams during system testing and deployment activities.
- Monitoring and analysing system operation on a daily basis.
- Monitoring system performance, availability and overall health.
- Identifying, reporting and coordinating technical issues related to system environments.
- Acting as a technical point of contact between Frontex ICT and external system vendors/contractors, coordinating the resolution of technical issues.
- Supporting ICT teams and project teams with the deployment and management of development environments in Microsoft Azure.
- Contributing to effective software deployment and release processes within an Agile/RUP environment
