About the role
For our client, a key player in the Belgian public sector, we are looking for a senior Agile professional to support four teams operating within the domains of medicinal and referral prescriptions, prescription support, and a dedicated mobile application.
The role requires availability for hybrid work in Belgium.
Our expectations
- Senior-level Scrum Master experience, ideally managing multiple delivery teams simultaneously.
- Strong expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum principles) combined with a pragmatic, results-oriented approach.
- Experience with the SAFe framework to support quarterly planning and coordination activities.
- Ability to work alongside Prince2 project management governance, effectively navigating environments where traditional governance structures and pure Agile frameworks overlap.
- Proven capability to coach both development teams and business stakeholders in the consistent application of Scrum and Agile practices.
- Skill in navigating a complex organizational environment, adapting Agile values to fit specific business contexts without losing their core benefits.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to manage relationships across multiple workstreams (including Project Managers, Business PMs, and Product Owners).
- Trilingual professional proficiency in English, French and Dutch.
- Availability for hybrid work in Belgium (Brussels).
Main responsibilities
- Act as Scrum Master for multiple cross-functional teams within the Prescriptions Program.
- Coach development teams and stakeholders in Scrum and Agile practices.
- Ensure consistent and effective application of Agile principles across teams and domains.
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and support teams in delivery and continuous improvement.
- Align Agile delivery practices with PRINCE2 governance structures where required.
- Support SAFe-based planning and coordination activities within referral prescription teams.
- Foster collaboration between Business Project Managers, Product Owners, and delivery teams.
- Identify and remove impediments in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
- Promote a pragmatic, value-driven approach to Agile delivery.
