About the role
We are looking for a QA Engineer to join our team and support testing activities for a lottery system and terminal-based applications. The role focuses on functional and regression testing of software running on handheld terminals, including validation of new hardware devices and comparison with existing terminal solutions.
The position requires close cooperation with technical teams to ensure the quality, stability, and reliability of the application and its integration with payment terminal hardware.
Our expectations
- Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and software testing processes
- Practical experience with JIRA for defect tracking and test management
- Good knowledge of Linux environments
- Experience in hardware/software integration testing, especially with payment terminals or similar devices
- Ability to analyze test results, identify issues, and document defects clearly
- Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to testing activities
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Fluent English communication skills (minimum C1 level)
- On-site work required – the role requires regular presence at the office
Nice to have
- Experience in testing embedded systems or device-based applications
- Knowledge of payment solutions, transaction systems, or lottery platforms
- Experience with regression testing in complex enterprise environments
Main responsibilities
- Functional testing of a terminal application on a new mobile handheld device, including comparison of results with the existing application running on the current terminal.
- Performing functional and regression testing of the lottery system.
- Analyzing test results, identifying discrepancies, and reporting defects.
- Collaborating with technical teams to ensure proper integration and correct operation of the solution.
