About the role
Projects for client from the e-commerce industry in the areas of machine learning and large-scale data processing.
Our expectations
- Programming languages: Python, Scala, advanced SQL
- Cloud Platform / ML Tools: GCP (Google Cloud Platform), Vertex AI, BigQuery
- Data Processing: Apache Spark
- Orchestration / Monitoring: Airflow, Looker Studio
- Education: Completed higher education (Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field)
- Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Data Science
- Production Experience: Proven experience in deploying ML models to production environments (models running in production)
- Data Scale: Experience working with large-scale data and models
- Business Problem Solving: Ability to translate business challenges into ML problems and solve them effectively using innovative approaches
- ML / Statistical Knowledge: Advanced understanding of statistical methods and machine learning techniques
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to audiences with varying levels of technical expertise
- Data Types: Experience working with diverse data types (tabular, natural language, image, time series)
- Growth Mindset: Willingness to grow in the area of backend development (Kotlin)
Nice to have
- Nice to have: Knowledge of JVM-based languages (Kotlin preferred)
