About the role
We are seeking a skilled Analyst to join the high-impact SACHA project (Harmonized Accounting Analysis System in Agriculture) for SPW Digital.
The project delivers a modular, online agricultural management accounting tool designed to collect and process critical sector data through automated links with external databases.
The SACHA solution informs farmers about activity profitability to access CAP subsidies, fulfills European RIDEA regulations, and acts as an essential data source for strategic plan development, disaster loss estimation, and academic research. Depending on the workload, the service provider may also be temporarily assigned to other projects within the SPW Digital ecosystem.
Our expectations
- Proven experience in the consumption of web services to securely retrieve or send data
- Strong background in business process modeling (UML, BPMN) and writing functional specifications
- Solid hands-on experience working in Agile projects under the Scrum methodology
- Practical familiarity with Jira and Jira Xray
- Experience with testing and Quality Assurance frameworks (such as Jest, Mocha or Cypress)
- Highly autonomous, pragmatic, and results-oriented mindset
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within an agile team environment
- Openness to innovation, with a readiness to adopt and actively contribute to an internal automatic code-generation framework
- Fluent French at at least C1 professional level
- Ability and willingness to work in a hybrid model, with at least 50% of the time based on-site at office in Namur, Wallonia
Nice to have
- Proven experience in designing scalable and robust software architectures
- Advanced proficiency in UML modeling, particularly around class diagrams
- Relevant knowledge, experience, or skills in cost accounting
- Prior professional experience within the public sector
Main responsibilities
- Requirements & Analysis: Collaborate closely with an SPW analyst to collect and analyze business requirements and identify application data
- Documentation & Specifications: Write rigorous technical, functional, and detailed functional specifications documents
- Business Process Modeling: Model complex business processes utilizing UML (specifically class diagrams) and BPMN
- Data Visualization: Design and generate comprehensive reports and dashboards for data visualization
- Framework Development: Experiment with and participate in the development of an automated framework used for the generation of tables, views, pages, data migration scripts, and unit tests based on the analysis
- Data Migration: Support the migration of legacy data currently stored and managed within Excel files
