About the role
The organization is undergoing a large-scale digital and organizational transformation driven by a central Digital Transformation Office (DTO). The goal is to modernize processes, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen strategic alignment of IT initiatives across the organization.
The DTO is implementing a structured IT demand management approach to improve prioritization, governance, and decision-making. This includes better alignment of initiatives with strategic objectives, budget constraints, and regulatory requirements (including public procurement).
The project focuses on increasing transparency, optimizing investments, and strengthening collaboration between business, IT, architecture, finance, and procurement stakeholders in a complex transformation environment.
Our expectations
- Over 8 years of experience as a business systems analyst in complex digital transformation environments.
- Strong analytical and conceptual reasoning skills with the ability to understand strategic stakes, IT environments, and digital transformation contexts
- Ability to structure complex information, identify meaningful connections, and synthesize key insights
- Strong quantitative capabilities, including cost-benefit analysis, effort estimation, and scenario modelling
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex analysis into clear, decision-ready inputs for stakeholders
- Critical thinking, independence of judgment, and strong objectivity in decision support
- Ability to operate effectively in complex, multidisciplinary, and evolving environments
- Confirmed expertise in Agile methodologies, business analysis, and business architecture
- Experience in change management within digital transformation contexts
- Knowledge of IT & data compliance standards
- Understanding of Customer Experience (UX/UI) principles
- Strong background in data management, financial analysis, and functional analysis
- Experience in IT project management and delivery environments
- Proficiency in Power BI for data analysis and reporting
- Knowledge of process automation and process management & optimization
- Fluency in French or Dutch (native or fluent)
Main responsibilities
- Analyze, structure, and clarify IT-related business demands within a strategic transformation context
- Assess alignment of initiatives with organizational strategy and transformation objectives
- Evaluate feasibility, sustainability, relevance, and value creation of proposed initiatives
- Build concise and structured business cases including cost, benefit, risk, and impact assessments
- Ensure initiatives are aligned with budget constraints, procurement rules, and organizational capacity
- Contribute to the prioritization, bundling, and re-evaluation of existing IT initiatives and portfolios
- Support governance bodies by preparing structured decision-making materials (e.g., demand boards)
- Collaborate closely with PMO, procurement, enterprise architecture, finance, and IT stakeholders
- Ensure consistency, transparency, and comparability of initiative evaluations across the portfolio
- Act as a key contributor to improving decision-making quality, speed, and strategic alignment
