About the role
This role supports the upgrade and maintenance of a large-scale SAP-based budget and accounting platform used within a public finance environment. The system (WBFIN) underpins financial and accounting processes and is continuously evolving to improve performance, simplify operations, and ensure compliance with business and regulatory needs.
The ERP Service Center (Digital) provides functional and technical support to the finance business unit, ensuring high-quality delivery of enhancements, system corrections, and testing activities. The current team requires additional senior capacity to manage increasing demand, maintain service quality, and ensure effective coordination with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
Our expectations
- At least 5 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst
- Strong expertise in process mapping and modeling (BPMN)
- In-depth knowledge of general accounting principles
- Hands-on experience with SAP modules: Business Partners, BPC, FI, FM-BCS, VIM, TRM, PS CD,AA
- Proven experience with ERP systems
- Knowledge of the Jira tool
- Test execution experience
- Confirmed experience with Sparx Enterprise Architect
- Knowledge of web services
- Fluency in French - level C2
- Willingness to work in a hybrid model, with on-site presence at least 2 days per week in the office in Namur, Belgium.

- Experience in public sector or finance-related ERP environments
- Exposure to large-scale transformation or upgrade projects
Main responsibilities
- Support enhancement requests for the SAP-based WBFIN platform, ensuring business needs are properly analyzed and optimized
- Review and challenge incoming requests to avoid unnecessary complexity and promote system simplification and performance improvements
- Participate in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) activities for releases and project deliveries, ensuring business requirements are met
- Coordinate and support testing activities involving external applications, including vendors and internal business teams
- Act as a key liaison between business users (finance department), external suppliers, and internal digital/IT teams
- Contribute to maintaining high-quality functional support within the ERP Service Center
- Ensure proper documentation and modeling of business processes (BPMN, Sparx EA)
- Help stabilize and scale support capacity in response to increasing workload and demand
